There is simply no easier way to give your customers the famous taste of Idahoan mashed potatoes. | Bring the water, butter and salt to a boil in a saucepan and remove from the heat. Add the cold milk and stir into potato flakes. Let stand until damp. Beat lightly with a fork and serve. Note: Serve with additional butter and season as desired. If smoother mashed potatoes are desired, add a little more water or milk. For firmer potatoes, stir in more flakes.
