The Hennessy VS Collector's Edition was developed because of the importance of the assembly of the cognac. Hennessy wanted to combine the art of blending with the blending of art. For their latest Collector's Edition, Hennessy has teamed up with world-renowned artist, KAWS. Each KAWS Hennessy VS bottle features the artist's signature artwork: a lot of bright colours replace the usual label of the iconic Hennessy bottle; and KAWS trademark "XX" can be found on the upper label. This collector's edition is limited to 420,000 hand-numbered bottles, with each carrying a QR code plus a quote from KAWS on the back label that reads: "Friends, work, music, art. It's important to find the right blend... KAWS." Hennessy VS Collector's Edition contains the same the classic Hennessy VS: a blend of around 40 different "eaux-de-vie" selected for their vivacity and from the best growing areas of the Cognac region. Full bodied with a pronounced aroma of oak and hazelnuts, a rich floral taste with tones of red berries and vanilla. Still operated by the Hennessy family, this cognac is aged for at least 2-5 years.
