Product Description Stone's Original Green Ginger Wine is a unique and some may say "cult like" wine. The finest quality ginger is selected and whole ginger roots are dried and processed before despatch to the Stone's winery. We draw the character from the ginger root using heat and wine for over a week. After this period of steeping, the infusion is matured in a clean neutral dry white wine which is blended with other, secret, components before bottling. Stone's Original Green Ginger Wine is a rich golden brown colour with a powerful pungent ginger aroma. This spicy character follows on the palate where its zest is quite noticeable, but moderated by a softening sweetness. The aftertaste is fairly warming and this sensation contributes a certain glow to the palate. It is coeliac friendly and contains 13.9% alcohol by volume.
